Thailand Day 2 : Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, Grand Palace, and Wat Arun
Day #2 in Thailand I visited famous temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn). I also visited Grand Palace which is located near Wat Phra Kaew.
In order to get these temples area I think the most convenient way is traveling with BTS to Saphan (Sathorn) Taksin station then change to ferry. Just take the orange flag boat (I don’t recommend blue flag chaophraya tourist boat because the fare is more expensive) and stop in station Tha Tien (N8) or Tha Chang (N9).
I decided to go Wat Pho in the morning ~ to avoid many people 🙂
Inside the ferry :
Wat Pho ticket: 100 Baht (including free drinking)
